Mayor of Chittagong Highlights Youth Power at YVB Chittagong City General Council 2025
Youth Voice of Bangladesh (YVB) successfully held its Chittagong City General Council 2025 at the Premier University Central Auditorium, bringing together youth leaders, students, and professionals from across the region. The event marked a significant milestone in YVB’s mission to promote youth leadership, social awareness, and humanitarian values.

Mayor Dr. Shahadat Hossain emphasized the transformative power of youth:

Barrister Tareque Akbar Khondakar expressed his vision for YVB:

Nearly 300 students participated in the Council, including 145 elected representatives from 42 colleges and universities in Chittagong. Attendees included young lawyers, doctors, engineers, journalists, educators, entrepreneurs, and social workers—all committed to shaping the nation’s future with sustainable and humanitarian leadership.
The Chittagong City General Council 2025 exemplified YVB’s commitment to fostering organized, informed, and humanitarian youth leadership.
