Reunion of Former Members of Youth Voice of Bangladesh and Discussion on Youth Voting Rights at United Kingdom On December 14, 2025, a reunion of former members of Youth Voice of Bangladesh (YVB) based in the United Kingdom was held at a restaurant in the UK. The event was attended by local BNP leaders, youth organizations, journalists from various print and electronic media, as well as volunteers from the party’s different wings, including Jubo Dal, Chhatra Dal, and Mahila Dal. The main objectives of the event were twofold: to reunite former members of YVB in the UK and to discuss the return of Mr. Tarique Rahman, the acting chairman of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), to Bangladesh after 17 years, and to engage in a discussion on the current political scenario of the country. In his speech, Mr. Golam Akbar Khondkar, a former Member of Parliament, former ambassador, and a member of the BNP Chairperson’s Advisory Council, stated that after the 2024 people’s uprising and the political change on August 5, Bangladesh has been facing a state of political uncertainty. He strongly believed that Mr. Tarique Rahman is the only capable, acceptable, and responsible leader who can lead the country
