Food & Relief Distribution amongst Tornado Victims at Brahmanbaria in 2013
Youth Voice of Bangladesh (YVB) organized a humanitarian relief program for the people affected by the devastating tornado in Chanpur, Dubla, Fhulbaria, and Masihata villages under Brahmanbaria Sadar Upazila.
The initiative included:
- Door-to-door distribution of food supplies from morning till evening
- A joint relief distribution program at the Masihata Union Parishad premises
- Practical steps by young volunteers to stand beside those affected by the natural disaster
The core objectives of the program were:
- Delivering emergency assistance to disaster-affected people
- Spreading humanitarian empathy and a sense of responsibility among youth
- Ensuring active youth leadership in disaster response
Through this program, Youth Voice of Bangladesh demonstrated that organized young people can swiftly, effectively, and compassionately stand beside disaster-affected communities. This initiative stands as a shining example of developing conscious, humanitarian, and effective youth leadership in Bangladesh.
